Richard Schwartz

Family therapist and developer of Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy.

Richard Schwartz is a family therapist who developed Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, author of "No Bad Parts" and "You Are the One You've Been Waiting For," offering a transformative approach to inner healing. IFS posits that the mind is naturally multiple and that all inner parts—including the most protective or reactive ones—have valuable roles, and that healing comes from leading with the Self rather than being dominated by any single part.
